Job summary

Command|Link is a global SaaS Platform delivering network, voice services, and IT security solutions. We seek an experienced Senior Managed Services Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise networks and SASE for distributed workforces.

You will mentor engineers, lead complex transformations, and serve as a senior escalation point. Responsibilities span SD-WAN design, SASE deployments across Fortinet, Versa, Cisco Meraki, and Cato stacks, plus automation and documentation.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of enterprise network engineering experience in managed services environments.
• Strong SD-WAN design and architecture experience with proven deployments.
• Expert-level knowledge of SASE and SD-WAN technologies (ZTNA, CASB, SWG, FWaaS).
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and multi-cloud connectivity.
• Experience with UCaaS platforms, particularly MetaSwitch.
• Automation skills using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Strong troubleshooting with packet captures and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead SD-WAN design and architecture for enterprise clients; create scalable, resilient networks.
• Design, implement, and manage SASE solutions using Fortinet, Versa, Cisco Meraki, and Cato.
• Deploy and manage Cato SASE Cloud Platform for secure global networking and Zero Trust access.
• Configure Fortinet SD-WAN/SASE, FortiGate firewalls, and FortiSASE.
• Implement Versa SASE Platform combining SD-WAN, security, and cloud access.
• Deploy and manage Cisco Meraki cloud SASE solutions including MX devices.
• Design secure remote access using SASE for distributed workforces.
• Mentor managed services engineers and share best practices.
• Integrate UCaaS (MetaSwitch) with enterprise networks.
• Implement Zero Trust models across SASE deployments.
• Develop network automation scripts and procedures; provide escalation support.
• Create technical runbooks and training materials.
• Collaborate with POD teams for uptime SLA compliance.
• Perform network assessments and cloud-first transformation strategies.
• Lead network transformations from legacy to SASE/SD-WAN.

About your new role:

Your role as a Senior Managed Services Network Engineer involves designing, implementing, and managing enterprise network and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) solutions using industry-leading technologies. You'll work extensively with SASE platforms, SD-WAN solutions, and unified communications systems to deliver exceptional managed services to our clients. As a senior team member, you'll mentor and assist other managed services engineers, lead complex network transformation projects, and serve as a technical escalation point for our dedicated POD support teams.

This is a Full-Time, 100% Remote opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SD-WAN design and architecture for enterprise clients, creating scalable and resilient network solutions
• Design, implement, and manage SASE solutions using Cato Networks, Fortinet, Versa Networks, and Cisco Meraki platforms
• Deploy and manage Cato SASE Cloud Platform for secure global networking and Zero Trust Network Access
• Configure and optimize Fortinet Secure SD-WAN and SASE solutions including FortiGate firewalls and FortiSASE
• Implement Versa SASE Platform combining SD-WAN, security, and cloud access capabilities
• Deploy and manage Cisco Meraki cloud-managed SASE solutions including MX security appliances with integrated SD-WAN
• Design secure remote access solutions using SASE architecture for distributed workforces
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to managed services engineers, sharing best practices and expertise
• Integrate UCaaS solutions including MetaSwitch platforms with enterprise networks
• Implement Zero Trust security models across SASE deployments
• Develop and maintain network automation scripts and procedures
• Provide advanced engineering support and serve as technical escalation point
• Create detailed technical documentation, runbooks, and training materials
• Collaborate with Command|POD teams to ensure 100% uptime SLA compliance
• Perform network assessments and develop cloud-first transformation strategies
• Lead network transformation projects from legacy architectures to SASE/SD-WAN solutions
• Takes on additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support the success of the team and organization

What you'll need for success:

• 7-10 years of enterprise network engineering experience in managed services environments
• Strong SD-WAN design and architecture experience with proven track record of successful enterprise deployments
• Expert-level knowledge of SASE and SD-WAN technologies, specifically:
• Fortinet FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiSASE
• Versa Networks Unified SASE Platform
• Cisco Meraki full stack (MX, MS, MR) with SD-WAN
• Deep understanding of SASE architecture including ZTNA, CASB, SWG, and FWaaS
• Strong experience with network security including NGFW, IPS/IDS, and Zero Trust architectures
• Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and multi-cloud connectivity
• Experience with UCaaS platforms, particularly MetaSwitch
• Proven ability to mentor and develop technical skills in other engineers
• Solid understanding of QoS, traffic shaping, and WAN optimization
• Automation skills using Python, Ansible, or similar tools
• Experience with RESTful APIs and network programmability
• Strong troubleshooting skills with packet capture and analysis tools
• Relevant certifications highly desired (CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Cisco Meraki, Versa, Cato)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interface directly with clients
• Experience working in MSP/managed services environments
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
