• Hands-on experience supporting wired and wireless networks serving 200+ users.
• Experience deploying network infrastructure from initial design and implementation through production use.
• Experience configuring and managing NAC solutions and Azure networking.

Responsibilities

• Support, optimize, and troubleshoot a Cisco/Meraki enterprise network environment.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Work directly with division CEOs, office leaders, and business users on expansions, connectivity needs, and technology upgrades.
• Lead and support office expansions, hardware refreshes, firmware upgrades, and network configuration changes.
• Design and implement solutions involving QoS, redundancy, failover, and high availability.
• Develop and enhance proactive network monitoring to identify and resolve issues before they impact end users.
• Configure, monitor, and support network infrastructure in Azure.
• Support NAC (Network Access Control) solutions and related network security initiatives.
• Work within established IT service management processes, including ServiceNow ticketing and workflows.
• Participate in network cutovers, maintenance windows, and infrastructure changes, including occasional weekend work.
• Support environments ranging from smaller offices to larger, more complex enterprise locations.
• Help ensure network connectivity and infrastructure support AV and conferencing environments when needed.

LRS Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer for a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with one of our valued client partners in St. Louis, MO.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a distributed enterprise network supporting approximately 50 locations across the U.S. and Canada. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on expertise with Cisco Meraki and networking technologies, along with the ability to communicate effectively with business leaders and technical teams.

You’ll play a key role in supporting new site launches, office expansions, infrastructure upgrades, network optimization, and ongoing improvements to network reliability and performance.

What You’ll Do

• Support, optimize, and troubleshoot a Cisco/Meraki enterprise network environment

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of network engineering experience, preferably in an enterprise environment
• 5+ years of experience supporting Cisco Meraki networks and VPN technologies
• Hands-on experience supporting wired and wireless networks serving 200+ users
• Experience deploying network infrastructure from initial design and implementation through production use
• Experience monitoring and configuring networks in Azure
• Experience configuring and managing NAC solutions
• Strong knowledge of high availability, QoS, network troubleshooting, and day-to-day network operations
• Ability to explain technical issues, solutions, and tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with ServiceNow or a similar ITSM platform
• Experience supporting multi-location environments, including office builds, expansions, and infrastructure changes
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Willingness to participate in occasional weekend maintenance or cutover activities

• Experience supporting AV and video conferencing environments from a network/connectivity perspective
• Experience leading or supporting large-scale site deployments and infrastructure refreshes
