Job summary

Elevate Technology Group is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support secure enterprise network solutions for national security programs in the United States. You will work on data centre, transport, and enterprise layers, driving architecture and infrastructure improvements with cross-functional teams.

You will apply deep knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF/EIGRP/BGP), and security technologies while leading technical initiatives and ensuring high availability

Qualifications

• 8+ years of network engineering experience.
• Juniper networking technologies experience.
• Cisco networking experience considered.
• Experience designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise networks.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and protocols.
• Experience with routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
• LAN, WAN and network security technologies; firewalls and ACLs.
• Excellent troubleshooting and collaboration skills; clear communication.

Compensation: $150,000 - $220,000 Base Salary + 50% Employer Package

The Opportunity

We're supporting a highly respected technology organization delivering critical solutions across the US Intelligence and National Security community.

As part of a senior-level networking team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting highly secure, mission-essential network infrastructure supporting multiple intelligence programs. The environment demands exceptional levels of availability, fault tolerance and performance, providing the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects that have a direct operational impact.

This is not a network operations role. You'll be involved in architecture, engineering, implementation and ongoing enhancement of complex networking environments across data centre, transport and enterprise infrastructure layers.

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and associated protocols
• Experience with routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP and BGP
• Experience with LAN, WAN and network security technologies
• Experience with firewalls, ACLs and secure network architectures
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within highly collaborative engineering teams
• Juniper certifications (JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE)
• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP)
• EVPN, VXLAN or MPLS environments
• VLANs, trunking and spanning tree
• Bash, Python or other scripting languages
