TEKsystems in Columbia, SC is seeking a Network Engineer/Architect to serve as the client’s technical resource for enterprise network architecture, engineering, and modernization initiatives. You will design, implement, and optimize large-scale network infrastructure across site, data center, cloud, wired, and wireless environments while supporting the EDN vision.

.We are looking for a Network Engineer/Architect will serve as the client's technical resource for enterprise network architecture, engineering, and modernization initiatives. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing large-scale network infrastructure across the site, data center, cloud, wired, and wireless environments while supporting the long-term vision for the client's Enterprise Data Network (EDN). The role requires expertise in advanced routing and switching, network security technologies, infrastructure modernization, and network automation to improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Top Skills

• 1. Advanced Routing & Switching Experience: Proven experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise routing and switching environments in large, complex network infrastructures.
• 2. Network Automation & Infrastructure-as-Code Experience: Hands‑on experience developing and maintaining network automation solutions using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Python, or similar orchestration platforms.
• 3. Network Security Infrastructure Experience: Experience implementing and supporting firewalls, VPNs, Network Access Control (NAC), and network security policies within enterprise environments.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Columbia, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
