Job summary

BrickRed Systems seeks a Senior Network Engineer – Signaling to support telecom core environments, subscriber provisioning, and cloud-native platforms. The role emphasizes hands-on operational support, scripting, and troubleshooting across Nokia Core products and related systems.

The engineer will strengthen cybersecurity postures, work with ServiceNow and NetScout, and operate in Unix/Linux environments while ensuring high availability of signaling services.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of operational support experience.
• Strong scripting and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies and telecom signaling.
• Experience supporting core telecom networks and subscriber provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Nokia Core products, including NDS, UDM, HSS, HLR, and PCF.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Subscriber Provisioning flows and related operational processes.
• Support and work with TMO-implemented systems such as ServiceNow, OneConsole, OneData, CyberArk, NetScout, and similar platforms.
• Work effectively within a Cloud-Native computing environment.
• Support Dell hardware and iDRAC environments.
• Identify and address telecom cybersecurity vulnerabilities, including recognizing security risks and implementing appropriate configuration or software changes.
• Use scripting and automation tools such as Python, Ansible, and Bash to support operational activities.
• Work with Unix/Linux command-line environments for troubleshooting and system support.
• Provide basic support for load balancers, routers, and databases.
