Verizon seeks a Senior Engineer for the Network Security Defense DFIR team to lead investigations across core, edge, and access networks. You will direct incident response efforts, orchestrate forensic evidence collection, and enhance detection through automation and scripting.

The role requires 4+ years in digital forensics or security engineering, with strong SIEM and forensic tool experience. This hybrid position includes Home/Office work with travel as needed within the US.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in security or related field.
• 4+ years in digital forensics, network security engineering, or incident response.
• Deep experience with SIEM platforms and forensic tooling.

Mansioni

• Lead network DFIR investigations during major security events.
• Drive containment, root-cause analysis, and recovery efforts.
• Analyze PCAP, NetFlow, and logs to trace attacker activity.
• Develop DFIR playbooks and automation to accelerate responses.
• Produce executive forensic reports with remediation recommendations.
