Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Principal Network Evaluator to support a Computer Network Defense mission. You will work with Government stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities, investigate cyber threats, and provide actionable recommendations to strengthen enterprise security and mission capabilities.

Responsibilities include proactive network defense, vulnerability assessments, traffic and log analysis, and producing formal reports with recommended mitigations.

Qualifications

• Strong networking knowledge across Cisco/Juniper/Arista.
• Experience with network defense, vulnerability assessment, incident response, packet analysis, and SIEM.
• Researching vulnerabilities and developing mitigation strategies; practical with Splunk/Elastic.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and intrusions; monitor security events.
• Analyze networks, assess attack surfaces, and develop operational courses of action.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and document analytic findings."
• Produce comprehensive reports and recommendations for Government stakeholders.
