Job summary

Barbaricum seeks a Network and Cybersecurity Support Specialist to provide IT, cybersecurity, and network administration support for DoD programs at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The ideal candidate holds an active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance, a Bachelor’s degree, and 10+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in network/IT/cybersecurity roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide network, IT, and cybersecurity support for DoD programs.
• Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade servers, workstations, and network devices.
• Maintain security documentation, ATOs, POAs, and system accreditation artifacts.
• Monitor systems health and troubleshoot issues to maximize availability.
• Support technology refresh, infrastructure modernization, and lifecycle upgrades.
• Collaborate with government personnel and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure, reliable environments.
