Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Senior Network Developer to design, validate, and implement large-scale network solutions across data centers, AI infrastructure, and cloud environments. You will lead spine-leaf fabric deployments, automate tasks with Python, and guide incident response while collaborating with vendors and internal teams.

You will mentor engineers, participate in architecture reviews, and drive RCA improvements to ensure high availability and performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in hyperscale cloud, ISP, or large enterprise networking environments.
Strong data center networking architecture knowledge.
Hands-on with routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, IPv4/IPv6, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Proficient in Python and network automation tooling.
Familiarity with YANG/OpenConfig/NETCONF/gNMI and model-driven networking.
Experience with telemetry, observability, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

Lead network build and expansion for new OCI Regions and AI infrastructure.
Deploy and support large-scale spine-leaf data center fabrics and backbone networks.
Execute complex changes while improving operation procedures and deployment standards.
Develop MOPs, runbooks, and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule.
Participate in architecture reviews and influence designs.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
Engage in on-call rotations and incident response.
Lead troubleshooting and RCA actions; implement long-term fixes.
Develop automation using Python and AI-assisted tools to boost efficiency.
