Job summary

CompQsoft is seeking a Senior Net-Centric Enterprise Architect to join the DISA team in Hanover, MD. The role focuses on TDM elimination, migration to DISN MPLS/IP, and coordination with vendors and DoD stakeholders to support modernization efforts.

You will provide technical guidance, prepare briefings and analyses of alternatives, and help ensure successful transitions of legacy networks to next-generation transport solutions in a DoD environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in network engineering or architecture.
• Experience planning legacy to next-gen transport tech.
• Familiarity with ITU-T, OIF and IETF standards is preferred.
• BA/BS in a technical discipline with 10+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME engineering support on TDM elimination interfacing with the DoD CIO.
• Prepare engineering briefing material and Analysis of Alternatives for DISA IE5 TIMs.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers and customers for engineering briefings.
• Develop deployment, transition, and migration plans for transport equipment.
• Review CLR/DLR and ensure design compliance for migration to NGT architecture.
• Interface with DISA operations to implement NGT equipment and migrate circuits.
