Job summary
San Diego State University is seeking a Senior Network Engineer/Architect to design and modernize SDSU’s campus, research, and data center networks. You will lead architecture and engineering across wired, wireless, WAN, and cloud-connected environments, balancing hands-on work with strategic planning.
You will guide multi‑year roadmaps, assess capacity and technical debt, and mentor engineers, while ensuring security, resiliency, and scalable performance for a complex university network
Qualifications
- Extensive experience designing and engineering large enterprise networks.
- Expertise with wired and wireless campus architectures and data centers.
- Proven ability to lead complex network modernization projects.
