Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Principal Network Developer – Regional Network Reliability in Nashville, TN. You will design, implement, and validate scalable leaf-spine networks for cloud services, lead firmware upgrades and network changes with operations teams, and drive reliability for AI/HPC/GPU clusters.

The role emphasizes automation, testing, and collaboration across vendors and internal teams, with responsibilities spanning monitoring, incident response, and change governance.

Qualifications

• Deep experience designing large-scale leaf-spine and multi-fabric data center networks.
• Hands-on experience with Ethernet switching, BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, IP addressing, routing scale, ECMP, QoS, and network segmentation.
• Experience with Arista EOS, Cisco NX-OS, NVIDIA Spectrum/Cumulus, or comparable platforms.
• Experience designing or operating AI/HPC/GPU cluster networking, including RDMA/RoCE, lossless Ethernet, and high-bandwidth fabrics.
• Strong incident-management and root-cause-analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops advanced network fabric to support large-scale enterprise, data center, or cloud networking.
• Validates production networks and develops scaling strategies for varied use cases.
• Participates in network solution and architecture design/validation processes.
• Leads incident response during support rotations and coordinates cross-team resolution.
