Job summary

HTC Global Services in Columbia, MD seeks a Senior Network Architect to lead modernization of a large enterprise network across campus, data center, cloud, and hybrid environments. The role blends architecture with hands-on engineering, automation, and operational excellence.

You will mentor technical staff, develop standards and roadmaps, and collaborate with security, cloud, facilities, and project teams to deliver resilient, observable networks with high availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 4+ years in enterprise network architecture and engineering.
• Leadership in design through implementation and operational transition.
• Experience with high-availability, resiliency, and capacity planning.
• Experience with Fortinet, VPN/SASE, NAC, segmentation, and security architecture.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure hybrid networking and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise network architecture and modernization initiatives.
• Design scalable LAN, WAN, data center, cloud, VPN, firewall, and NAC solutions.
• Develop architecture standards, roadmaps, docs, and diagrams.
• Translate requirements into secure, resilient network designs.
• Improve resiliency, lifecycle planning, capacity planning, and high-availability design.
• Implement monitoring, observability, automation, and orchestration.
• Serve as senior escalation resource for complex network issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, and project teams.
• Mentor staff and support knowledge transfer.
