Job summary

ADT Security Services in Irving, TX is seeking a seasoned cloud network engineer. You will design, develop, document, and implement enterprise network technologies across a hybrid footprint, including PA firewall, Cisco routing, external DNS, and FIP VIP configurations.

The role emphasizes multi-cloud strategy, SD-WAN, wireless LAN/WAN, QoS, and high-availability designs, with automation using Python/PowerShell and collaboration across Cisco, Palo Alto, NSX-T, and F5 ecosystems.

Qualifications

Extensive experience designing and deploying cloud and on-prem networks with hybrid cloud designs.
Proficiency with Cisco routing, Palo Alto firewalls, F5 and BigIP platforms.
Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DNS management.
Strong scripting for automation (Python/PowerShell).
CCNA/CCNP and relevant cloud certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage cloud and on-prem network technologies with a focus on security and VPC design across Azure, AWS, GCP.
Develop strategies for hybrid cloud and multi-cloud deployments and ensure optimal performance.
Engineer network solutions using Cisco, Palo Alto, VMware NSX-T/AVI, F5 including complex BGP configurations.
Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot wired and wireless LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN for enterprise environments.
Design, implement, and optimize enterprise Wi‑Fi networks and QoS configurations.
Develop and maintain network automation scripts to streamline configuration and management tasks.
Configure dynamic routing protocols (BGP/OSPF) for reliable operations.
Document network designs and topologies for new deployments and upgrades.
Perform site surveys and capacity planning for LAN, wireless, and SD-WAN networks.
Troubleshoot complex network issues and maintain performance through monitoring.
