Job summary

LIGHTERA is seeking a hands-on Senior Network Engineer to support global network infrastructure across offices, manufacturing facilities, datacenters, and cloud environments. Emphasis on LAN/WAN, security, and Zero Trust adoption.

Responsibilities include firewall/VPN management, IT/OT segmentation, and participation in datacenter and modernization projects. Requires 10+ years’ enterprise experience and senior networking certs. On-site in Norcross, GA.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: 10+ years in enterprise network engineering in global multi-site environments.
Certifications: Senior-level networking certs (e.g., JNCIS, CCNP) preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless infrastructure (Juniper EX, Mist).
Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2/3 services, VLAN design, network segmentation.
Implement and manage firewall policies (Fortinet FortiGate) and VPN/Zero Trust controls.
Lead IT/OT network segmentation projects; validate testing and post-deployment support.
Participate in network upgrade, modernization, and datacenter refresh projects.
Maintain runbooks, change control processes, and documentation.
Collaborate across Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations.
