Job summary

Leidos seeks a Network Architect SME to lead design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise application delivery and DDI infrastructure in Fort Belvoir, VA or Albuquerque, NM. Deep experience with F5 and Infoblox enables highly available, secure solutions across a hybrid multi-cloud environment.

You will drive GSLB, secure DNS solutions, and IPAM across mission-critical networks, coordinating with cross-functional teams while ensuring DoW/STIG compliance and rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 12–15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10–13 years of prior relevant experience.
• Active IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, or SSCP) required.
• Citizenship: United States Citizenship is required.
• Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in network engineering and architecture, with focus on application delivery networks (ADN).
• Deep expertise in F5 BIG-IP platforms, including LTM/GTM, and Infoblox DDI environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage advanced application delivery models ensuring high availability, performance, and security for mission-critical applications.
• Architect and maintain F5 BIG-IP solutions (LTM/GTM) for intelligent load balancing.
• Lead engineering and administration of enterprise Infoblox DDI environments (DNS, DHCP, IPAM).
• Collaborate with application developers and cybersecurity teams to translate requirements into resilient network architectures.
• Perform advanced network troubleshooting, traffic analysis, and performance tuning.
