Job summary

Singing River Health System is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize enterprise networks across facilities. You will manage routing protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), Cisco hardware, Palo Alto firewalls, and cloud networking, while ensuring security and regulatory compliance.

This role reports to the Information Services Technical Manager and requires 8+ years of experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8+ years in network engineering.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF and other routing protocols.
• Experience with Cisco hardware and Palo Alto firewalls; knowledge of cloud networking.

Responsibilities

• Develops and deploys network plans and designs to meet performance and security requirements.
• Defines monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans.
• Troubleshoots network issues and develops deployment processes.
• Keeps informed of latest technologies to enhance networking knowledge.
