GreenDart is seeking an accomplished Senior Network Architect to design, modernize, integrate, and secure mission-critical network environments supporting high-impact Department of Defense and space programs. This role requires a true enterprise-level network architect - someone who has personally designed complex networks, solved difficult interoperability challenges, and supported secure classified infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and modernize complex enterprise, mission, and classified network environments.
- Own end-to-end network architecture across LAN/WAN, routing, switching, transport, segmentation, and secure communications.
- Design and troubleshoot advanced routing environments using BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IPv4/IPv6, multicast, VLANs, and QoS.
- Develop detailed network architectures, topology diagrams, configuration standards, and engineering documentation.
- Architect solutions using Cisco ASR/ISR/Nexus, Arista, and comparable enterprise networking platforms.
- Design and integrate SD-WAN, spine-leaf architectures, Zero Trust segmentation, and hybrid/cloud connectivity.
- Integrate network security technologies including Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, IDS/IPS, TACACS+, and secure access controls.
- Support and enhance classified network environments (SIPRNET, NIPRNET, and other mission networks).
- Conduct traffic, throughput, performance, and data-flow analysis to optimize reliability and availability.
- Troubleshoot complex interoperability and system-of-systems issues and drive root-cause resolution.
- Support architecture validation, technical design reviews, and modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate directly with government customers, cybersecurity teams, systems engineers, vendors, and program leadership.
