Job summary

MKS2 Technologies, LLC, an award-winning high growth small business, is seeking a Network Architect to lead network modernization in complex DoD environments. This role is on-site in Honolulu, with 40% travel to support multiple locations and time zones.

The ideal candidate holds CCIE and 15+ years of network engineering experience, including leadership roles. Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, with Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Cisco CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure or CCIE Security required at start date.
• Minimum 15 years in network engineering, incl. 7+ years as senior architect/lead in DoD or national-security environments.
• Bachelor's degree in network engineering, CS, information systems, EE, cybersecurity, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the enterprise network architecture for distributed command and sustainment needs.
• Translate operational needs into enterprise, logical, physical architectures.
• Own the network baseline: routing, switching, segmentation, QoS, encryption, WAN/SDN, high availability.
