Job summary

UTOPIA Fiber is seeking a Network Architect to design and implement the overall network architecture across ISP environments. You will collaborate with Design, DevOps, NOC, and CSR teams to plan capacity, troubleshoot outages, and automate network functions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or networking and 5–10 years in network engineering design, with strong knowledge of IPv4/IPv6, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and fiber technologies. You will report to the DevOps Manager.

Qualifications

• The Network Architect should have the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, networking or related field
• Five to ten years of experience in network engineering design and implementation
• Or an equivalent combination of education or experience

Responsibilities

• Design and implement overall network architecture
• Set and refine implementation standards
• Work with Network Design team to automate all network and process functions
• Organize and manage network changes
• Respond to and solve operational issues that cause network disruption and outages
• Work with the Operations team
