Job summary

AVA Counsulting is seeking a seasoned Routing and Switching Engineer to design, implement, and maintain load balancing, DNS/DHCP/IPAM (DDI), and network security across data centers and cloud environments. This is a contract, on-site role based in Plano, TX with in-person work requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of domain experience, with strong expertise in Infoblox, F5, NetScaler, and enterprise network design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field.
• 15+ years of domain experience required.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining DDI and load balancing.
• Strong knowledge of DNS/DHCP/IPAM, Infoblox, F5/NetScaler.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain R&S, Wireless, and network security.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize load balancers and DNS/DHCP/IPAM.
• Provide architecture guidance for new cloud integrations.
• Support security compliance initiatives and incident responses.
• Maintain accurate network inventory and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
