Job summary

Lumentum Holdings is seeking a Distinguished Technical Staff to lead network architecture, co-packaged optics (CPO), and systems strategy. The role collaborates with customers and ecosystem partners to refine Lumentum’s technology position and roadmap within long-haul networks, DCI, and compute fabrics.

The position requires 15+ years in optics and networking, with hands-on experience in CPO hardware and laser tech, plus strong modeling of high-speed systems.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in optics and network technology.
• Experience with CPO hardware, ecosystem, supply chain, SiPh, and laser technology.
• Strong understanding of high-speed SerDes and modulation formats such as PAM4.

Responsibilities

• Owns Lumentum Co-packaged optics strategy.
• Drives adoption of differentiated CPO technology with customers and stakeholders.
• Defines and drives strategic program and hardware development.
• Maps network architectures across Long haul, DCI, front end, back end and compute fabric.
