Job summary

The Swift Group is seeking a highly experienced Network Engineer to design and operate enterprise networks for government and IC environments. You will architect networks spanning LAN, WAN, data center, and cloud, integrating Cisco CAI and AI-enabled fabrics while leading security, automation, and documentation efforts.

Candidates must possess 8+ years in enterprise IP networks, deep routing knowledge, and a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, IT, Networking, or related field; or equivalent experience.
8+ years designing, implementing, and operating enterprise IP networks.
Deep expertise in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS and switching tech.
Proficiency with Cisco CAI, data center networking, and AI/workload connectivity.
Experience with SD-WAN, cloud networking, NAC, and multiple vendors.
Ability to produce architecture diagrams and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage enterprise networks spanning LAN/WAN/data center/cloud.
Configure routing protocols and advanced switching across multi-site topologies.
Architect and operate CAI solutions and AI-enabled data center fabrics.
Deliver MPLS/BGP transport services and cloud connectivity.
Enforce security controls, VPNs, ACLs, and Zero Trust policies.
Automate provisioning and validation using Ansible, Python, and IaC workflows.
Produce network designs, diagrams, and change-management documentation.
Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering playbooks.
