Job summary

Apex Systems seeks a Network Engineer to support DoD assets at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH. You will design, deploy, and sustain secure networks, leverage Cisco and Palo Alto gear, and ensure high availability for mission-critical systems.

A TS/SCI clearance is required, with onsite work and documented SOP development responsibilities. Responsibilities include configuring transport circuits, implementing encryption, and coordinating with cloud integrations (AWS/Azure) while using

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network switching and routing.
• 5+ years of experience designing and troubleshooting secure networks.
• Experience managing transport circuits and routes.
• Experience developing SOPs for new connections, IP management and recovery.
• Knowledge of BGP, NAT, IPsec; HS diploma or GED; Security+ certification.

Responsibilities

• Support and design mission-critical network infrastructure for defense projects.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and improve security and availability.
• Plan and optimize encryption integration, routing, and network architecture.
