Job summary

OneMain Financial is seeking a senior technical lead to own enterprise network operations across AWS, Azure, hybrid cloud, and on‑prem environments. This role centers on application delivery, reliability, redundancy, and performance, with an automation‑first mindset and strict documentation standards.

You will drive architecture, roadmaps, and standards, delegating to borrowed engineers when needed. Expect 24/7 on‑call rotation and strong cross‑functional collaboration to keep traffic flowing

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience supporting large enterprise multi-cloud hybrid network stacks.
• Deep understanding of DNS architecture, resolution, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with WAN circuit technologies and VPNs.
• Knowledge of TLS, HTTP, and cloud networking best practices.
• Experience with BGP, OSPF and route manipulation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and roadmaps for enterprise network to ensure availability and performance.
• Lead automation and engineering using Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, and GitOps.
• Troubleshoot complex, multi-layer network issues and perform incident response.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate cross-functionally with DevOps and Security teams.
• Document designs and operational procedures thoroughly.
