Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a Network Administrator to own the design, deployment, and day‑to‑day operation of our network infrastructure across classified and unclassified environments. This hands‑on role will build, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks while monitoring performance and reliability to keep operations mission‑ready.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in network administration or infrastructure operations.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infra in production.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, DNS, DHCP; network security architecture.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware across LAN/WAN and multi-domain environments.
• Monitor performance, triage issues, document findings to closure.
• Design segmentation and routing architectures aligning with security requirements.
• Manage firewall rules, VPNs, ACLs, and SSL inspection with cybersecurity teams.
• Support incident response for outages; coordinate with IT and security teams.
• Maintain firmware updates, licensing, patching, and SIEM/log integration.
• Plan upgrades and migrations to support program/site requirements.
• Produce uptime reports and support government audits.
• Travel up to 10% CONUS to program sites.
