This is a senior individual-contributor role operating at the intersection of complex multi-site networking, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and PCI compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on enterprise networking experience in large-scale, multi-site environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency with AWS networking and security services in production environments.
• Strong vendor management skills and ability to coordinate service delivery with carriers and hardware vendors.
• Willingness to travel domestically as needed and participate in on-call rotation.
• Experience documenting infrastructure for audits and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure network infrastructure across data centers, remote sites, and AWS/Azure cloud environments.
• Architect and operate routing and switching infrastructure (BGP, NAT, VLANs, STP, IPsec VPNs, HSRP).
• Manage firewall platforms (Cisco, pfSense, Check Point) and F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM.
• Administer AWS networking: VPCs, Subnets, NAT, Route Tables, Transit Gateway, and PrivateLink.
• Configure DNS (Route 53) and security controls (NACLs, SGs, WAF).
• Maintain network security policy management and PCI DSS alignment.
• Coordinate with vendors/carriers for WAN circuits and cost optimization.
• Travel to data centers and offices as needed.
