Job summary

Vesta Corporation is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate a global enterprise network across on‑premises, hybrid cloud, and PCI‑compliant environments.

The role focuses on multi‑site networking, cloud integration, and security, requiring 10+ years of experience and strong AWS/network tooling expertise. The position is a 6–12 month contract and involves travel for deployments and incidents.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on enterprise networking experience.
• Cisco routing and switching expertise (IOS/NX‑OS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• F5 BIG‑IP LTM/GTM administration and policy management.
• PCI DSS compliance and security policy enforcement in multi‑site environments.
• Experience with AWS networking and hybrid connectivity is required.
• Willingness to travel domestically and participate in after‑hours on‑call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure network infrastructure across data centers and cloud environments.
• Architect and operate routing/switching, BGP, NAT, VLANs, STP, VPNs, and firewall platforms.
• Manage F5 BIG‑IP, Cloudflare DNS/WAF, and network security policies for PCI compliance.
• Design AWS VPCs, VPC peering, Transit Gateway, and PrivateLink for multi‑account environments.
• Maintain network monitoring, IaC for networking, and runbooks for audits and incident response.
• Collaborate with vendors/carriers to optimize WAN circuits and support deployments.
