Description of Task to be Performed:

Come join our growing team and make a difference every day! AnaVation is seeking an experienced Senior Network Analyst to join an exciting work program. The successful candidate will have experience with designing, implementing, operating, maintaining, and monitoring large enterprise networks, preferably in federal government environments, and in following Agile processes using the SAFe framework.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Provide on-site/on-duty monitoring personnel where identified, for 24x7x365 services.
2. Create and review network blueprints, including LANs, WANs, and cloud networks, focusing on scalability, performance, and security requirements.
3. Assess new network hardware and software technologies, providing recommendations for upgrades or replacements based on emerging trends and business needs.
4. Identify and resolve network performance issues, analyze network traffic patterns, and optimize network configurations for efficiency.
5. Identify potential network vulnerabilities, implement security protocols, and advise on security best practices to protect sensitive data.
6. Forecast future network bandwidth needs and recommend infrastructure upgrades to meet growing demands.
7. Serve as a technical resource for complex network issues, providing guidance and training to other IT staff.
8. Monitor network implementation projects, including configuration, installation, and testing of new network components.
9. Develop network documentation and training materials for team members.
10. Maintain comprehensive documentation in Jira, Confluence, or similar repositories of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
11. Staff day, afternoon, or midnight shifts.
12. Troubleshoot customer issues to identify and resolve root causes.
13. Manage issue resolution and standard operating procedures.

This position is onsite at our customer site in Clarksburg, WV. It requires an active Top Secret clearance and, if requested, the ability to pass a polygraph and obtain SCI access.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or information technology preferred. Alternatively, a minimum of six (6) years relevant experience.
• Experience: 6 years without a degree.
• Additional Skills: Incident Management experience preferred; in-depth knowledge of cloud, network, security, and routing protocols such as TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and QoS; experience with WAN/LAN connectivity, routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls; ability to troubleshoot complex network issues; experience with Agile methodologies using Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, and SAFe.
