Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to support the LMOC program at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah. The role focuses on administering LAN/WAN, security, and cross-domain collaboration for mission-critical systems.

The ideal candidate will have a DoD environment background, active security clearance, VMware management experience, and the ability to work across teams to deliver reliable, compliant network solutions in a fast-paced government setting.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years in the discipline, including DoW experience, or 15+ years with DoW experience.
• Active DoD 8570.01-M IAT II certification required.
• LAN/WAN administration for classified/unclassified networks.
• Experience with RMF/DIACAP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain LAN and WAN systems, including network security.
• Provide secure communication venues for product teams discussing sensitive requirements.
• Support telecom infrastructure: phones, videoconferencing, messaging.
• Develop IT equipment management systems and government software apps.
• VMware server administration and virtualization in HA environments.
• Provide help desk support and manage government system access.
• Install and maintain network cabling (CAT5, fiber).
• Prepare documentation for RMF/DIACAP certification.
• Assess designs for security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Integrate new technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements.
• Analyze system usage and troubleshoot network issues.
