Job summary

Flyover Las Vegas is seeking a System Administrator II - Network to own our network and connectivity across sites, from core switching to wireless and VPN. The role is based on-site in Las Vegas with hybrid work; some Level 1 tasks in-person up to ~4 hours per week.

You will design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and enterprise wireless, while documenting networks and supporting capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in network administration or engineering across multi-site environments.
• Experience with enterprise switching/routing, VLANs, OSPF/BGP or static routing, QoS.
• Firewall admin and VPN configuration (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA or similar).
• Enterprise wireless design and troubleshooting; network monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, switching, routing across sites.
• Administer firewalls, VPNs, and network security controls; secure remote access.
• Deploy and manage enterprise wireless; plan coverage and capacity.
• Monitor network health, set up alerts, respond to incidents and outages.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, IP management, change records.
• Partner with vendors/ISPs on circuits and refresh planning.
• Serve as network SME; define standards and evaluate new tech.
• On-site Level 1 tasks for this location; remote support handled by IT team.
