Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Network Administrator Senior to support the Base Infrastructure Modernization contract at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) in Southcentral Alaska. You will manage site network devices, maintain configurations, troubleshoot performance, and support patching and upgrades to ensure availability and security.

The role requires active Secret clearance and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, with 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required or currently possess
• Minimum 3+ years of related experience
• Experience with network infrastructure management and monitoring
• Knowledge of STIG patching and security practices
• NOC/SOC operations background and incident management experience

Responsibilities

• Manage LAN/WAN networks and monitor data traffic for performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and routing problems
• Assist in deployment, patching, and upgrades of network devices
• Maintain configurations and ensure security compliance
• Work with engineers and AF client on planning and procedures
• Operate SIEM tools and develop event alarms/rules
• Support incident response and risk analysis activities
• Follow ITSM principles to document incidents and resolutions
