Job summary

GDIT is seeking an Information Assurance Associate to support our Base Infrastructure Modernization contract at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson in Alaska. You will serve as the local IA representative, supporting the RMF process and contributing to certification, accreditation, continuous monitoring and improvement efforts.

The role requires an Active Secret clearance and DoD 8570 IAT level II certification, with willingness to obtain DoD 8140 (SecurityX) within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience
• DoD IA procedures
• Experience in a DoD environment
• Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain higher clearance if required

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures to protect information systems assets and prevent unauthorized access or destruction
• Collaborates with AF client on IA-related tasks
• Participates in network software upgrades and certificate renewals
• Updates technical documentation and SOPs for network security
