Job summary

VLink Inc. in Raleigh-Durham area seeks a Senior NetApp Storage Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise storage environment. You will manage NetApp ONTAP, FAS/AFF/C Series platforms, and SAN/NAS storage with automation and enterprise integration.

The role collaborates with storage, compute, networking, virtualization, database, and infra teams to implement storage changes, upgrades, and feature deployments while maintaining availability and performance in a complex data center.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience administering NetApp ONTAP environments.
• Experience with NetApp FAS, AFF, and/or C Series platforms.
• Knowledge of ONTAP 9.x and enterprise NAS/SAN storage tech.
• Experience with VMware/vSphere and storage integrations.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex storage/infrastructure issues.

Responsibilities

• Implement infra changes across the NetApp environment.
• Perform ONTAP upgrades, config changes, and feature implementations.
• Support security capabilities including MFA and MAV.
• Maintain and expand 80 on-prem NetApp ONTAP nodes and FSxN footprint.
• Develop storage automation using Ansible and related tools.
