Job summary

Avion Solutions Inc. is seeking a Senior Web Applications Developer to support the Maneuver Air Directorate, Assault and Attack Division. Based in Huntsville, AL, you will join an existing team to maintain and expand .NET web applications and modernize to .NET Core.

You'll enhance AI integrations, analyze requirements with stakeholders, and deliver demos and training. US citizenship and DoD Secret clearance are required; up to 15% travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS or similar field.
• 15+ years building complex client-server web apps in Microsoft .NET stack.
• Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, EF ORM.
• Proficient with WebForms, MVC, and ASP.NET Razor Pages.
• Strong JavaScript/ JQuery/ Bootstrap UX skills.
• U.S. citizen with active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Join a development team to maintain and expand .NET web apps.
• Modernize .NET Framework apps to .NET Core.
• Expand AI integrations within existing apps for Army Airworthiness needs.
• Analyze requirements and make design recommendations.
• Demonstrate features to user groups and provide training.
• Report progress to management and stakeholders.
• Provide user support for the full application suite via Teams, email, or in person.
• Write well-documented, clean code.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
