JPS Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd in Cary, NC is seeking an experienced Senior .NET/SQL Server Developer to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise budget applications, infrastructure, and databases. The role requires strong expertise in .NET, SQL Server, VB.NET, SSIS, web services and enterprise application support.

You will design data extraction packages, develop SSIS, Windows services, and disaster recovery plans, while mentoring teams and ensuring best practices.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET / SQL Server Developer to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise budget applications, infrastructure, application instances, and databases. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET, SQL Server, VB.NET, SSIS, web services, and enterprise application support, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop packages to extract data elements into structured data layouts.
• Maintain and enhance complex applications supporting enterprise budget systems.
• Assist technical teams with .NET solutions and provide guidance on development best practices.
• Perform SQL Server installation, maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Support database transactions and distributed processing using MSDTC.
• Design and maintain Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) solutions.
• Develop and maintain SSIS packages for importing and exporting data to and from SQL Server.
• Design, develop, and maintain Windows services.
• Develop and maintain web services and related integrations.
• Design, test, and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.
• Develop, review, and maintain VB.NET code.
• Create detailed technical infrastructure diagrams, specifications, and documentation.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, analysis, and problem resolution as required.
• Collaborate with development teams, technical staff, and business stakeholders.
• Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring on development and database best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience developing and maintaining enterprise applications.
• 6+ years of SQL Server installation, maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting experience.
• 6+ years of experience maintaining and developing complex applications.
• Strong experience with .NET and VB.NET development.
• Experience developing and maintaining SQL Server packages and data extraction processes.
• Strong knowledge of MSDTC.
• Experience designing and maintaining TDE encryption.
• Experience with SSIS packages for SQL Server data integration.
• Experience developing Windows services.
• Experience developing web services.
• Experience designing and testing disaster recovery plans.
• Strong technical documentation and infrastructure diagramming skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws, procurement, budgeting, human resources, payroll processes, and related administrative practices is desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent education.
