Quantum Technologies LLC in the United States seeks an experienced software professional to maintain and develop data-extraction packages and support complex .NET applications.

You will mentor staff, design disaster recovery plans, optimize SQL Server, and implement security features like TDE and MSDTC, while producing technical diagrams and specifications. A BS in CS/IT and strong communication are required.

Formación

• Minimum six years of experience in SQL Server installation, maintenance, and optimization.
• Proficient in VB.Net code development and review.
• Knowledge of MSDTC, TDE encryption, and disaster recovery planning.
• Experience with SSIS for data import/export.
• BS degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.

Roles and Responsibilities
Minimum of six (8) years of each item below:

Maintain and develop packages to extract data elements into constructed data layouts.

Maintain complicated applications supported by Applications Development: Budget System.

Assist state employees with .Net solutions and mentors on best practices.

Other Requirements:

Minimum of six (6) years of SQL Server installation, maintenance, and optimization experience.

Good knowledge of MSDTC.

Experience with design and maintenance of TDE Encryption.

Experience using integration services or SSIS packages to import and export data to/from SQL.

Experience designing and testing disaster recovery plans.

Ability to write and review VB.Net code.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Experience developing detailed technical infrastructure diagrams and specifications.

Education requirement of a BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other equivalent education.
