Fyin Llc in Denver, CO is seeking a Senior .NET Developer with deep Microsoft SQL Server expertise to join our engineering team and anchor the data layer.

You will design schemas, tune queries, develop advanced T-SQL, and contribute to full-stack .NET development while upholding security and compliance for financial-grade solutions. This is an in-person role with a strong emphasis on collaboration and mentorship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 and later).
• Expert-level T-SQL proficiency: complex stored procedures and advanced windowing functions.
• Strong .NET development background (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, EF/EF Core).
• Experience with SQL Server performance tuning and query optimization.
• Familiarity with SecDevOps and data security principles for SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain complex MS SQL Server databases (schemas, procedures, views).
• Perform advanced SQL performance tuning and index optimization.
• Write sophisticated T-SQL including window functions, dynamic SQL, and CTEs.
• Design and optimize ETL processes for client integrations.
• Contribute to full-stack .NET development beyond the data layer.
• Implement AI-assisted data techniques: embeddings, vector search, LLM integration.
• Ensure data layer compliance, audit logging, encryption at rest/in transit.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in architecture decisions.
