Job summary

Tech Army, LLC seeks a Senior System Software Programmer to lead projects in a government IT environment. You will design, develop, and support web applications, APIs, and data solutions using .NET, SQL Server, XML, and JSON.

This hybrid role requires strong testing, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable systems and reports with SSRS/Power BI. 5+ years in .NET and data integration are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of web application development using .NET technologies (ASP.NET, .NET Core)
• 5+ years of SQL database programming and architecture
• 5+ years of unit and integration testing experience
• 5+ years of experience with SSRS and Power BI reporting
• 5+ years supporting COTS/MOTS applications
• 5+ years IT experience in a law-enforcement environment
• 3+ years experience developing data transport using XML/JSON
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer-service skills

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom web applications and APIs
• Enhance and troubleshoot new and existing systems
• Develop solutions using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, SQL Server, XML, and JSON
• Build reports and dashboards using SSRS, Power BI, or similar tools
• Develop and optimize SQL databases, queries, and data solutions
• Perform unit and integration testing
• Provide technical support to users at multiple locations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify defects and enhancements
• Prepare technical specifications, requirements, test cases, and system documentation
• Respond to user issues and document resolutions
