Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and modernize enterprise payer applications. You will work across .NET, Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, React, Angular, microservices, and Azure to deliver scalable, secure solutions for healthcare payers.

You will build microservices, APIs, and modern front-end interfaces while ensuring security and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of software development experience building enterprise-scale applications.
• Strong proficiency in .NET Framework, C#, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
• Hands-on expertise with Node.js and RESTful API development.
• Experience developing front-end applications using React and Angular.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services, deployment, monitoring, and scalability practices.
• Understanding of healthcare payer operations including eligibility, benefits, claims adjudication, and provider management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise applications using .NET, Java, and Spring Boot technologies to support healthcare payer operations.
• Build and maintain microservices-based architectures that enable scalable, secure, and reusable business services.
• Develop modern user interfaces using React and Angular to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
• Implement and integrate cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
• Create and support REST APIs and integration services using Node.js and microservices patterns.
• Perform code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization across full-stack applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert complex healthcare payer requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare security, privacy, and regulatory requirements through secure development practices.
