Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and modernize enterprise healthcare payer applications across claims, eligibility, benefits, and provider services. You will work with .NET, Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, React, Angular, Microservices, and Azure to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

You will design and develop enterprise apps, build microservices, craft modern UIs, and implement cloud-native solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of software development experience building enterprise-scale applications.
• Strong proficiency in .NET Framework, C#, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
• Hands-on expertise with Node.js and RESTful API development.
• Experience developing front-end applications using React and Angular.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services, deployment, monitoring, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise applications using .NET, Java, and Spring Boot to support healthcare payer operations.
• Build and maintain microservices-based architectures for scalable, secure services.
• Develop modern user interfaces using React and Angular to improve UX.
• Implement and integrate cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
• Create and support REST APIs and integration services using Node.js and microservices patterns.
• Perform code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex payer requirements into tech solutions.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
