Job summary

Regions is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to oversee the development, modification, and maintenance of applications within the Technology department. The role focuses on installing, configuring, testing, and optimizing systems to ensure reliable performance and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will work onsite at Riverchase Operations Center in Hoover, with regular hours and potential for leadership of junior associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Five (5) years of experience.
• Onsite work expectation in Riverchase/Hoover area.
• Senior software engineering responsibilities including design, deployment and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development and installation of new hardware and software.
• Installs and configures systems and other software.
• Tests installed software for malfunction detection.
• Identifies and resolves business systems issues.
• Designs and deploys new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems.
• Monitors and tests system performance.
• Maintains ownership of processes and ensures risk management compliance.
• May lead junior associates.
