Job summary

Thomson Reuters U.S. Income Tax Compliance software seeks a talented Fullstack .NET Software Engineer to extend market leadership into the next generation of cloud-native, scalable systems.

You will design and build web apps and REST APIs using ASP.NET/.NET Core, work with AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, and collaborate in agile Scrum teams while maintaining legacy codebases and delivering incrementally releasable software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong CS fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with .Net Framework and .Net Core, preferably C#.
• Experience with web apps and REST APIs using ASP.Net or similar frameworks.
• Experience with Angular/JavaScript and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS) and containers (Docker, ECS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD/DevOps, Git/GitFlow, and agile/scrum methods.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Design and build elastic, scalable, cloud-native systems.
• Balance legacy systems with new architecture while delivering iteratively.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure quality from inside out.
• Participate in self-directed Scrum teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Deliver hands-on technology proofs-of-concept and demonstrations.
