Job summary

Thomson Reuters U.S. Income Tax Compliance software is seeking a talented Fullstack .Net Software Engineer to balance legacy systems with modern cloud-native design. You will contribute to scalable, elastic systems hosted on AWS, and partner with QA to ensure quality from the inside out.

You should have 5+ years in software engineering, strong OO design, and experience with .NET, REST APIs, and Angular. The role is based in a hybrid environment with competitive benefits and career growth

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience with distributed teams.
Strong CS fundamentals; OO design with SOLID, DRY, DDD.
Experience designing REST APIs with ASP.NET Core.
Experience with web apps using Angular/JavaScript.
Cloud experience with AWS; containers (Docker) a plus.
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Effective communicator able to coordinate across teams.

Responsibilities

Balance legacy demands with future vision and maintain existing systems while building new cloud-native components.
Design and construct elastic, fault-tolerant, scalable systems in public cloud (AWS).
Collaborate in Scrum teams; write quality code with a focus on testing and automation.
Deliver hands-on proof-of-concepts and demonstrations of new capabilities.
