Job summary

Thomson Reuters seeks a Fullstack .Net Software Engineer to extend our tax compliance platform. You will balance legacy systems while building scalable, cloud-native services on AWS, with ASP.NET, C#, and Angular front-ends.

You’ll work in autonomous Scrum teams to deliver quality software and demonstrate proof-of-concepts as needed. The role emphasizes OO design, SOLID/DDD, and strong collaboration with QA, DevOps, and product partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in software engineering.
• Strong CS fundamentals in data structures and algorithm design.
• Experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core, preferably C#.
• Strong OO design and development skills; knowledge of SOLID, DRY, DDD.

Responsibilities

• Balance legacy systems with future vision in cloud-native architecture.
• Design and develop elastic, fault-tolerant, scalable systems in AWS.
• Collaborate in Scrum teams and coordinate with QA and other stakeholders.
• Deliver high-quality software with a focus on testing and reliability.
• Contribute to exploration of proof-of-concepts and demonstrations.
