Job summary

Thomson Reuters U.S. Income Tax Compliance software is seeking a seasoned Fullstack .Net Software Engineer to help transform legacy systems into cloud-native microservices hosted on AWS.

You will design elastic, high-performance solutions, collaborate with Scrum teams, and contribute to API-driven integrations while maintaining current systems. The role emphasizes strong OO design, SOLID/DDD, REST APIs using ASP.NET, and front-end work with Angular/JavaScript.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering
• Strong CS fundamentals in data structures and algorithms
• Experience with .Net Framework and .Net Core, C#
• Web apps and REST APIs using ASP.NET or similar
• Experience with Angular/JavaScript
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server/Oracle/PostgreSQL) and noSQL is a plus
• Familiarity with public cloud (AWS) and containers (Docker/Kubernetes) a plus
• CI/CD, DevOps concepts, unit testing and test automation
• Git and GitFlow, PRs, branching, merging across releases
• Effective communicator across teams and stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree required
