Job summary

Cognizant in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior .NET Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and deliver modern cloud-native applications using .NET, Angular, and AWS technologies.

You will collaborate with architects, product owners, UX teams, and cross-functional delivery teams to build scalable REST APIs, microservices, and responsive user interfaces, deploying with Docker and Kubernetes on AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core (NET 8+) and C# 12+.
• Proven experience building scalable REST APIs, microservices, and distributed apps.
• Expertise in SQL Server, PostgreSQL; data modeling and performance tuning.
• Strong front-end development with Angular 17, RxJS, NgRx.
• Experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, ECS, EKS).
• Experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployments.
• Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Strong OO, LINQ, async/await, best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using .NET Core and C# 12+.
• Build scalable APIs and microservices with DI and async patterns.
• Develop UI using Angular 17 with RxJS and NgRx state management.
• Design and optimize SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases for performance.
• Deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS including Lambda, ECS, EKS.
• Containerize and manage apps with Docker and Kubernetes in AWS.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement.
