Job summary

M&T Bank seeks a Sr. Software Engineer to independently write code and gather technical requirements, contributing to stability and resiliency within the SDLC.

You will design and develop enterprise apps using .NET, ASP.NET Core, Angular, SQL Server, and related technologies, while building REST APIs and automated tests. Collaborate with teams on architecture, CI/CD, and DevOps practices in an Agile/SAFe environment, and ensure adherence to risk and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years systems analysis and/or application development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more relevant programming languages.
• Experience with .NET, ASP.NET Core, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and modern web applications.
• Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, and ETL processes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, scalable code within the SDLC to solve business needs and minimize risk.
• Design, develop, and support enterprise apps using .NET, Angular, and related tech.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and responsive web apps.
• Review PRs, provide feedback, and manage change within policy.
