Job summary

Smart IMS Inc in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer for a 12-month contract onsite. You will design, develop, and support customer-facing and backend applications in an Agile environment using .NET, Angular, and cloud-based architectures.

You will lead feature work, perform code reviews, implement CI/CD, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack development experience with mentoring
• Strong ASP.NET, Angular, JSON, XML, and REST services
• Experience with .NET, .NET Core, C#, RESTful APIs, Microservices, and Event-Driven Architecture
• Strong database development experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational DB platforms
• Experience with distributed monolithic and cloud-based microservices environments
• Solid understanding of web app security, performance, debugging, deployment strategies, and session management
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, API test automation, and deployment pipelines
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to define and deliver Agile user stories
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack apps using .NET and Angular
• Lead code reviews and design reviews for quality, scalability, and maintainability
• Lead the implementation of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
• Develop and execute unit tests and support test-driven development practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across environments
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior developers
• Participate in roadmap planning, architecture discussions, and long-term technology strategy
• Support CI/CD processes and deployment automation initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product delivery
