Job summary

Amtex Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced Full Stack (.NET/SQL) Developer for an 18-month on-site contract in downtown Houston, TX.

The ideal candidate will migrate a legacy ASP.NET Web Forms app to a .NET Core 10 REST API with an Angular frontend and will contribute to scalable, enterprise-grade web solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain APIs and frontend components, perform database migrations, and participate in code reviews and documentation to ensure best practices across the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in .NET development.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core Web API (.NET Core 10), EF Core, REST API design.
• Experience with Oracle to SQL Server migrations (PL/SQL to T-SQL).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Angular (v15+), TypeScript, RxJS, and Angular Material/PrimeNG.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain apps and APIs using .NET Core 10.
• Migrate Oracle to SQL Server including PL/SQL to T-SQL conversion.
• Build front-end components with Angular.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and fix defects and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices.
• Support deployment and production support.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and documentation.
